How to use it

Start with demand.
Validate with data.

The calculator uses the selected CPU oversubscription ratio, retains host memory overhead, and adds one host after the larger of the CPU- and memory-driven node counts when N+1 is selected. Storage protection and operational reserve are applied after growth.

It does not size login storms, GPU/framebuffer demand, IOPS, latency, profile containers, golden images, connection brokers, network bandwidth, or vendor-specific architecture. Use utilization at the 95th percentile and pilot testing to finalize a design.
